With only 48 days to go, everyone is anticipating the start of the new season. Spring Practice gave us a small preview of all the great things to come. But not just the parents and fans are excited, Coach Lucas also is raving.
"This has been our best spring football in three years. We are stronger, bigger, and faster than last years team. We average 300 lbs on the Offensive Line and about 265 lbs on the Defensive line. Colleges and Universities are sending recruiting letters by the barrels. We are so excited as coaches about our 2009-2010 team. Expect great things from this year's team!"
On the booster side of the pigskin, we will try to raise $30,000.00 to purchase a new scoreboard for the stadium. We are forming a scoreboard committee right now! Keep an eye on our fundraising section for further details.
